About Us
As our name clearly suggests, Kent IT is dedicated to providing professional, competitiively-priced IT support to businesses across Kent and Sussex. That said, over the past 5 years we have continued to streach our reach across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Garry Stockton (founder and Managing Director) formed his first IT consultancy in 1996 and, following a period of sustained growth, this business evolved into Kent IT. Since that time, the Company has focused on developing a broad base of clients in most sectors.
Garry has since been joined by Robert Williams as Technical Director in 2001, and Darren Wilson as a Director and Manager in 2004. Both these people share the philosophy that IT should work for the user, not against them, while remaining cost effective and well managed.
Over the past two years, Robert has started and grown the
DataCentre aspect of the business in our Maidstone Facility, while Darren has continued to manage the expansion of the support team as well as the flow of work through the business.
As a reult of carefully managed and totally organic growth, Kent IT now supports hundreds of businesses, ranging from the small and medium enterprises to large Corporates.
Our Team is made up of highly skilled consultants who can support the most demanding and complex IT Infrastructures. We are often called upon to troubleshoot IT challenges others have been unable to resolve – this often involes overseas projects in mainland Europe and futher afield.
